What are we going to do?
The Board are the guardians of the mission. Their job is to guide the organization and ensure that the chosen business strategy is aligned to fulfilling the mission. There are constraints within the company, the environment, and the community that will impact the full achievement of the mission but that is the board’s job.
They are charged to think the following way:

- This is what we don’t know
- This is what we are doing
- This is why we are doing it
- This is what you need to be doing
